Independent Blu-ray and mobile app developer Jargon Technologies began working with 20th Century Fox on their Second Screen series, interactive mobile apps that synced to a Blu-ray player via Wi-Fi. When the original design for Fox’s Cerebro: X-Men Movies app fell through, I was ultimately commissioned to redesign the entire UI from scratch. Having been a Blu-ray digital media specialist for Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory from 2006-2012, I understood with this emerging technology not only how the app should work and look on the device, but also how it should interact with the Blu-ray player when synced to the X-Men: Days of Future Past BD disc. I worked side-by-side with Jargon’s development team to design and execute the graphic assets, and the Cerebro app was ultimately released in 2014. This was quickly followed by Wolverine: Second Screen, for which I provided graphic support, and Walking With Dinosaurs 3D Blu-ray’s interactive Trivia Track feature.

Jargon also released their own series of independent app games for which I also designed the graphics.

In addition to interactive design, I also helped Jargon develop a logo and branding identity for their proprietary Blu-ray disc authoring platform, INDIGO ULTRA.
